Mayo Ideas Week 2022 - Taking on the Future with Confidence
Mayo Ideas Week is back with a full series of events for 2022 on the theme ‘Taking on the Future with Confidence’. Events will take place from Monday 3rd to Friday 7th October. Now in its twelfth year, it is a series of idea generation, entrepreneurship and business events hosted by the enterprise development agencies and organisations in County Mayo.
Events will be held at different venues around the county with a different theme for each day, each addressing core challenges and areas facing businesses of all sizes. Mayo Ideas Week events will help businesses meet these challenges with confidence. Each day has a different focus under the overarching theme. Monday’s focus is sustainability and the green economy, Tuesday is about export and internationalisation while Wednesday’s emphasis is on HR and skills. On Thursday events will be about the digital, technology and innovation arena and the week concludes on Friday with a major networking event, Meet Mayo at Ballinrobe Racecourse.

Mayo Ideas Week was an initiative of the Nuálann Mhaigheo / Mayo Ideas Lab collaborative project, which was established by the development and enterprise support agencies to support innovation and idea generation in Co. Mayo.
Every year we showcase successful innovators, and highlight the supports available to help Mayo businesses to innovate.
Our events are designed to give entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs the space to explore new ideas, and share experiences with other start-ups and businesses in Mayo.
There is also an opportunity to connect with agencies supporting enterprise to see how they might be able to help you to get your ideas off the ground.
The Nuálann Mhaigheo / Mayo Ideas Lab project was managed by WestBIC Business Innovation Centre and overseen by a Management Committee made up of representatives from the following partners: Mayo Co. Council, Local Enterprise Office, Mayo, Údarás na Gaeltachta, Enterprise Ireland, Galway Mayo Institute of Technology, iHub at GMIT, South West Mayo Development Company Ltd, Mayo North East LEADER Partnership Company Ltd, Western Development Commission and WestBIC.
